It is said that many people walk in and out of our lives, some staying a lifetime, some for only brief moments. No matter what time is spent, it takes a special person to leave footprints in the heart. By just being ourselves we can enrich someone's life without even knowing it. Joshua was able to do this with personal gifts from the heart. His big smile, warmth towards others and dedication to being a great mentor at every level were displayed in so many different ways; he cared so much, he hated to let anyone down. Despite his achievements and status, Joshua remained true to himself and treated everyone as an equal; he loved to share his knowledge and experiences. He had so many nice qualities which I personally saw as gifts. It was because he chose to share these gifts, even with people who were relatively strangers, that he became so highly respected. I cannot say goodbye in person tomorrow, but Joshua will be in my heart. I would like to thank him for my footprints and hope he continues to leave footprints wherever his journey takes him. My thoughts are with all of his family at this sad time x
